Early Childhood Registration - Saint Teresa of Avila School

Registration is open for pre-kindergarten (3 & 4-year-olds) and kindergarten (half-day and full-day).

Kindergarten Program:
(Must be 5 years old
by October 1, 2013)

Classes meet Monday - Friday.
Minimum of 12 students, maximum of 22 students.
Class instructed by a certified teacher.
Both full day and half day programs are offered.
Morning Care (7:00am - 8am) and Extended Day (3:00pm-6:00pm) Programs are available.

4 Year Old PreK Program:
(Must be 4 years old
by October 1, 2013)

Classes meet 3 days per week.
Minimum of 7 students, maximum of 18 students.
Class instructed by a certified teacher.
If a section exceeds 10 students, an aide will assist.
Two sessions available:
♦AM meets 8:30 - 11:00
♦PM meets 12:00 - 2:30

3 Year Old PreK Program:
(Must be 3 years old
by October 1, 2013)

Classes meet 2 days per week.
Minimum of 7 students, maximum of 12 students.
Class instructed by a certified teacher.
Each session will have an aide. Two sessions available:
♦AM meets 8:30 - 11:00
♦PM meets 12:00 - 2:30

The following information is needed to complete the registration process:

Original birth certificate (A copy will be made and original returned to you.)
Original Baptismal certificate (A copy will be made and original returned to you.)
Current immunization records (A copy will be made and original returned to you.)
Original Social Security card (A copy will be made and original returned to you.)
Session Selection Preference Form
Memorandum of understanding
Pastor verification form (if applicable)
School registration form
Home Language Survey
Tuition agreement form completed (available in the school office)
Registration fee $150.00 (non-refundable)

Financial assistance is available for preschool and kindergarten students through the Diocese of Pittsburgh's Scholastic Opportunity Program. To apply for diocesan aid, please follow this link: 2013-14 Student Aid Form. For Catholic families, the pastor’s signature is required. For pre-kindergarten, the school principal's signature is required. All financial aid applications are due by March 15, 2013. If you have questions, please contact the school office.
