Innovations in the Classroom

Saint Teresa of Avila School in Ross Township has several fun and incredibly innovative programs. Every class, from K to Grade 8 is learning the basics of computer science.

Students at St. Teresa of Avila School showed off a variety skills, including singing, dancing, playing musical instruments and doing martial arts, during the school talent show.

Sixth-graders at St. Teresa of Avila School in Ross did tableaus of scenes from events in the last week of Jesus’ life and the Stations of the Cross at the parish church March 27.

Every year, the school’s sixth-graders do the program.

Catholic Schools Week

His float represented the book ‘I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic, 1912’ by Lauren Tarshis. The Book Parade is an annual Catholic Schools Week activity at the school.

Educators Making a Difference

Mrs. Tracy Coll joyfully teaches preschool and pre-kindergarten at St.Teresa of Avila School. “St. Teresa’s is a family. It’s a school to believe in,” Mrs. Coll explains. Mrs. Coll has been teaching for 11 years, and 10 of those years have been at St. Teresa of Avila School.
