Students will continue to practice using outside help (glossary, dictionary, thesaurus etc.). Practice work will be assigned and done in a spelling notebook or on loose leaf paper. 

 

Special Features

Students will be given the opportunity write stories with the spelling words, develop listening and speaking skills, and participate in spelling bees and board work. Spelling is integrated into all areas of the curriculum and will be assessed in all work.
