Dear 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade Parents:
The Little Titans Basketball Program for boys and girls in first, second and third grades will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the school gym. Six weekly sessions (9:00 – 10:30 a.m.) are scheduled for September 17, 24; October 1, 8, 22 and 29. The program is under the direction of Joe Frank, Head Varsity Coach and assisted by other St. Teresa coaches and volunteers.
The focus of the program is to teach the basic FUNndamental basketball skills to our future Titans. The children will have FUN and enjoy playing basketball – smiles, laughs and good feelings are important.
Little Titans learn to cooperate with teammates and develop positive attitudes about fair play. Players learn to respect their teammates, opponents, officials and themselves - courage, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are emphasized throughout the program.
We will use the adjustable hoops and the Little Titans will be introduced to individual and team competition. Each Little Titan will receive a tee-shirt, basketball, and photo – all of which are included in the $25 registration fee.
Each Little Titan should bring their own basketball marked with their name to the first session. Also, we will need lots of help, so if you would like to assist and you have the necessary Diocesan clearances, please contact me in advance of the first session. Registration Requirements

Three forms must be completed and submitted to participate in the Little Titans Basketball Program. Also, the registration fee must accompany the forms. No player will be permitted to participate without submitting the completed forms and fee.

Physician Release and Parent Release Form (Appendix A)

(This form is good for a 1 year period from the date of the physician’s signature. Forms submitted for other St. Teresa Diocesan sports may be used but a copy must accompany this registration.

Parent Participation Pledge

Registration Fee - $25 – checks payable to St.Teresa A.A.
Forms should be submitted to the school office, marked Little Titans, prior to Thursday, September 15, 2011. If you have any questions, or if you would like to help, please do not hesitate to contact me.
